Belonging to No 11 OTU, crashed on the night of the 2nd/3rd September 1942 while flying a nightime cross country navigation exercise. The crew encountered poor weather and flew into moorland. All the crew survived the crash.

Belonging to Newcastle Aero Club. Crashed on 23rd September 1969 whilst flying in low cloud on a flight from Leeds/Bradford Airport to Newcastle Airport.
Belonging to No 17 OTU, Crashed on 28th May 1945. While on a training flight the crew became lost in thick cloud and while reducing height to try and pinpoint their position they collided with high ground.
