Belonging to No 55 Operational Training Unit, crashed on 31st march 1941 after the engine failed and caught fire while conducting a height test out of RAF Usworth. The Pilot bailed out succesfully leaving the Hurricane to crash on Ravenseat Moor.

Belonging to No.611 (West Lancashire) Squadron, Royal Auxiliary Air Force. Crashed on 3rd July 1948 while taking part in a cross country training exercise with 2 other aircraft. While flying at 6000ft the aircraft entered a cloud and encountered severe turbulance causing the pilot to lose control. The Pilot bailed out succesfully, the other two Aircraft had turned back before this one crashed.
